With World Tour Tokyo wrapped up I would like to share my analysis on the Nations Cup World Final entrants and how backups can attend if certain people can't go. @SkyPikmin has already done an in depth analysis on the Manufacturer Series focusing on the 12 Manufacturers that qualified and the possible representatives which will mostly stay the same from Tokyo to Monaco. For the Nations Cup, there were 24 entrants at each world tour this year but in the world final there will be 36. The following is just a long list of names so if that doesn't float your boat please go look at another more interesting thread in the GTPlanet forums. I may add more info about each of the names in this list but that may make this post too convoluted.

I think emails for Monaco have been sent out but I'm going to produce this list on the assumption that everyone is eligible. If more info comes to light then I will add it in. Please let me know of any withdrawals, ineligibility, missing names, spelling mistakes, etc if you do happen to know.

The entrant numbers from each region and country caps can be found on this page about 3/4 of the way down under Section 3 World Finals
https://www.gran-turismo.com/au/gtsport/fia2019/detail/

I've also capped the backup scenarios to about 4-5 depending on the region and how interesting/complicated it is, even though some are very unlikely.

This could all be for nothing and everyone that's qualified is eligible and going but if anything I'll just use this as a reference because I find myself sometimes clicking back and forth between leaderboards. Hopefully it can help explain to the casual viewer how everyone qualified.

Assuming no one declines the invite to Monaco, the country cap rule is only enforced in EMEA (4 Spaniards in the top 16), Asia (mostly Japanese) and Oceania (mostly Australian).

Edit 1: The only person that would have benefited in Tokyo from the "win your way to the world final by winning a world tour" was Yamanaka because he would not make the World Final unless one of the top 3 pulled out. He qualified for the Tokyo World Tour as the Asian region had 6 spots and a country cap of 4 because it was the host region.

Edit 2: PR1_JOSETE is underage therefore ineligible, EMEA list adjusted

So anyway here's my list.

PR1_JOSETE is underage
Thanks, I had a feeling I saw something about that somewhere previously but couldn't remember. I will edit the list accordingly.

Depends if PD do anything about it.

It would not be the first time someone made it to an event having not been eligible or had broken competition rules to make it there
Is using multiple accounts to qualify for an event within the rules?
This post was not to expose or accuse anyone of multi accounting or anyone trying to attend while underage. That's for a separate discussion. It's just an objective (as much as possible) look at the leaderboards while making simplifying assuptions on who attends until the entrant list is public.

PR1_JOSETE is a Star player so he/she must be 18 or older now I think. All Star players are 18 or older.

Nope plenty of people have a false DoB on PSN (myself included)

The only validation for S Rank is your account being 18 or over

OK so no one withdrew, but at least it gives the whole story of how everyone qualified.

I'll put this note here too: I noticed Gori_R4ichi repping Chevy so he must have turned 18 between Tokyo WT and now.
