World GT Round 2 results.

Another race done in the World GT. UDO complete a stunning 1, 2, 3 in the DB9s.

Daan's time suffered possibly from a slight touch in turn 1, Famine edging gim out by just 8 tenths. Boomboys skyline 11 seconds off of UDO's pace, with ejr_1 a further 8 seconds back.
Andge08 and GT_Fan2005 finishing less than 1 tenth apart! Very close stuff. Nitrobee driver Bee complained of massive undertseer problems in the Viper while KevinD tails the pack with his M3.

I'm kind of happy with fifth. I only ran the race once. Grats to Sukerkin, and to UDO for taking the top three spots. I think the DB9 is going to be very hard to beat.
 
If the AI wasn't in the way,and if I had more time(had just one go at the race,didn't restart at all) I'd prolly be better.

Congratulations to team UDO, good job guys! nice job A7X! As you can see I throughly sucked this round. only got 1 run in and had massive oversteer.
 
I am pleased with my result, hopfully i can keep up the pace next round.
 
Many congrats to everyone for their runs. Deep Forest is a personal favourite of mine and I have to admit that I spent six hours on this on Sunday :O.

It was great fun, so I'm not too bothered that my first run (of six completed, many restarted) was 25:20.427 - it was disqualifiable anyhow, as I reckon I rattled every AI on the way to the front {Fix Bayonets. No prisioners! :lol: }. My last run is much prettier with just a couple of 'brush' passes on the AI.

I've already promised a replay to Famine so he can see where I was making the time up on him (our T's were about the same) so it's no problem to provide one for scrutiny, GT_Fan. My guess is that the last two turns were where the time came from as early braking, car stabalisation and gradual throttle input made the world of difference there.

In fact, I reckon it's probably a good idea for you to reinforce the proviso in everyones minds that race winners will more than likely be asked for a replay. Yes, it is a pain to get one siphoned off the game card but it's not something seasoned OLR runners aren't familiar with.

I'll get on with it now, actually, assuming that my x-port will play ball.

Just a quick check to see if you got my replay okay? If not then I'll have to attach it to a post here in the thread as I can't see another way of getting it to you :scratches head:.
 
Sorry - my bad... I've had computing problems recently and forgot all about it. I'll forward it on now.

Edit: No, apparently I won't, as I don't have GT_Fan's e-mail either... All UKGTP correspondance was via PM... :(
 
Okay mate. Thanks for trying.

I don't have the disk with me today (at work ... endlessly and eternally damned am I LOL) so if you want to append the file as an attachment here for GT_Fan to pickup that'll be fine.

The downside is that all the other PAL drivers will be able to see my shameless wall-riding, grass-cutting and AI-Ramming :p.

EDIT: Waited until half past eight to see if any activity and then tried to add the file. Sadly it's too large (even zipping it doesn't get it small enough). GT_Fan, if you want this replay then I'm afraid you must strip away the veil of anonymity and let me know your e-mail address (or I could hand it over to one of the moderators and let them pass it on?).

I've tried a test e-mail, GT_Fan. If that works then we're good to go for future replay request (assuming I do well enough to require one ever again :scared:!).
