Welcome to Deep forest for 18 laps of mini hell. Tight, twisty, yet rewarding. This circuit could spring up many a suprise and dissappointment but lets wait and see.

same as before. Set to 18 laps in arcade mode single race options, AI up to you, tyre wear off, no pitstops.

This week, you are restricted to Sports MEDIUM tyres, dont forget this. Assists, etc is up to you.

This week, any cheating or suspected cheating, a replay will be asked from you, failure to comply in 72 hours of request will result in automatic disqualification. Youve been warned:) Dont make me DQ another dirver.

Usual rules apply though.

2 wheels on the circuit all times.
The rumble strips are part of the circuit (not the concrete section before the tunnel)
no shortcutting
no wallriding/touching
no AI touching.

So, bear all the rules in mind and have fun!

You stink Lee(is that right? :lol: ). Deep Forest is an amazing track. This is going to be great fun. :)
 
Out of interest, when is our deadline?

I'm going to be incommunicado until early afternoon Sunday...
 
As far as I know, Famine, the deadline is midnight Sunday, so it'll be a case of a rush job for you if you can't get any laps in until Sunday afternoon :eek:!

Best of Luck anyhow my friend (and watch out for power-on understeer ('cos DB9's have so much of that in the real world don't they 👎 ) :D).

Edit: I've just done a nice race, but I'm a little concerned about what frequency of off/bang/AI wallop we're allowed.

In total I made 5 "errors" - 2 light brushes on the inside of the left at the bottom of the hill, 2 offs on the outside of the last (one to avoid a VERY slow-moving Audi RS6) and a bottom-spanking on the barrier before T1. In 18 laps I'd say that was "acceptable" (though not much more than that). I did clip the AI Supra as he blithely moved into my path and the E55 AMG who blocked me when I lapped him.
 
Most of that Famine is not your fault:) its PDs, they made bad AI we gotta accept some of this:D
 
So if I slipped all my wheels on the grass to avoid AI a few times,it's ok?

I've run a better, quicker one now, so I don't care any more.

One off just after T2 - apparently DB9s understeer with power :rolleyes: - but nothing else.

Count yourself lucky your not in the Viper.

"Understeer" is a much nicer thing than what i had.... :grumpy:
 
Time submitted. Much fun other than having to do multiple re-starts due to dodgy AI.
 
Agreed, the AI is apalling sometimes.

And im glad everyone is enjoying the series! I can tell you at this point, it is alot more open than last week, bigger margains between drivers.

Can't find a qualifying or sign up thread. What must one do to participate in the World GT Series... or is it too late?
 
Umm, will when the results be up? I really want to see how I did. :nervous:
