A much more open race this weekend, a huge gap between 1st and last place.

Massive win for Sukerkin, absolutely trashed the opposition in the DB9, Daan and Famine completing an emphatic 1, 2, 3 for UDO. Bee finished second to last after his worst performance this season whilst elsewhere: Appie held his cool to finish 4th in the C12 and Booomboy slips down the order to finish 6th behind the Jaguar.

Many congrats as ever to all runners 👍. This one was more tense than before as the AI are a real roadblock around this track and you have to either make passes at less than optimal places or just wait and wait and wait at what feels like half throttle until they give you an opening.

I'm pleased to see that Daan and Famine are running good times in the DB9 also; this is especially true as I know both of them didn't have the time to put into the race this week (whereas I used up an evening or so) and we didn't have chance to do more than update times for each other (no top-track-tups exchanged this week ). I think I ran a 24:20ish for my first run through too, so that shows just how important trying again can be when life allows you the hours necessary for many attempts.

I didn't have a lot of time and don't really like Trial Mountain much.

I have been saving hot-lap replays of my best practice runs on all (I think) the races we've done so far. As you're a fellow PAl'er, do you have an X-port? If so, I can mail you these runs to see if having a look at how someone else tackles these tracks in slippery boots helps?

I have to say tho', that I think you're doing great, particularly considering you're driving the Calloway. I reckon I'd crash that as I simply don't 'get' most MR cars in GT4 and the soft, momentary, trail-braking I do on turn-in really unbalances them .

actually its a FR and the car drives better when you turn off ASM

but anyway i dont have a xport is it like a action replay or something like that

Everything drives better without ASM. ASM is evil.

The XPort (and MaxDrive) are devices which allow transfer of file data between a PC and a PS2 memory card.

Shows how much I know! . I could've sworn that the C12 was MR .

Aye, the X-port is a device for converting PS2 save files into a format that PC's can understand (and also for re-writing said files back onto PS2 memory cards).

Oh and ... ASM ... shudders . TCS has the occaisional use (tho' even the Zonda can be succesfully driven without it) but ASM destroys the handling of almost any car in the game. Mind you, there is a school of thought that says that it has it uses in dialing a car in for a specific kind of cornering behaviour to save tyre life.

7th, that's actually much better then expected, I only had 1 day to actually race and the Viper was not very pretty through the corners, (I had to take the hairpin at the end of the back straight at roughly 55)

Congrats to everyone, especially UDO for the contuing dominence of this championship.

Also I'm deffinatly going to have to sit Monaco out, I'm moving house on friday so no internet for me.

@Famine: ROFL - you will, my friend, you will. I've just been blessed with a series that uses a car I love, on the kind of tyres I use in-game and has long races so consistency pays off. I've also been able to put in at least four hours on most of the outings so far ... the missus is unlikely to be quite so amenable to time (mis)-use over the holidays .

@Bee: Good luck with the house move. It's a busy and stressful time so if you can't make the race then we'll all understand - obviously it would be great if you could, especially with a driver/team standings table in the offing .

I've just had an idea.

Perhaps Ash, I could text you my total time via mobile phones, that way I'm still in it but without the internet.

Honestly, I'm right up there with Famine sometimes.

Hey guys apolodgies for the no show this week from me, its due to the fact I had a busy weekend, firstly playing basketball with my team followed by a day with my girl Also schoolwork had a part to play as well. Next round I will be here though to represent Team GB!
