Well well well, Sukerkins 100% reign at the top comes to an end, a phenominal run by Drew22 to take the victory hee at El Capitan. UDO finish off the podium while Appie17 just about scrapes into the points.

good race everyone, many many positive comments on this weeks:D

Next week we hit the Nordschleife for 4 laps of the green hell! So get ready for some high speed action there:p

thanks

Nice run, Drew 👍.

Your powers of El Capitan are impressive. A second a lap faster than your next rival is pretty good going. I'd be interested in knowing where I was losing time that I shouldn't have been doing so, assuming you're able to, I wonder if I could cheekily ask for a replay? A sector time matrix would help but nothing teaches better than sitting 'in' the car that's doing the laps.

Apologies to Famine for pinching his spot once again.

Usual congrats to all runners on their performances in a most enjoyable race.

cool i can add 1 point to my total

Unbelievable, I knew I had a nice consistant run, but never thought it was worthy of a podium.
Hey sukerkin, I have a max drive NTSC, I bought it for the WRS and the JGTC series, but have never needed it since I've never gotten a first place in Div.2. I'll try figuring it out tonight and post a replay...I did save it just in case.
One thing that really helped this week is that the gearing in the BMW was perfect for El Capitan, all the turns and braking points just sorta coincided with the gearbox perfectly. Coming out of the last turn is most critical and I was able to hit it in 4th. downshift to 3rd. and nail it through the turn onto the straight.

Of course El Capitan is my favorite GT4 track and I've run the Enduro there at least 10 times, now next week at the "Ring" I'll be in most everyone's rearview, mission 34 is the only mission I haven't gotten.

Sad to say, due to Sony 'wonderfulness', as a PAL user, NTSC replays are no use to me (even converted to PAL format they simply do not work :().

I'm afraid that if I want to find out what I wasn't doing right I'll have to cheekily ask for sector times, exit speeds etc. That's a lot of bother for you and I wouldn't want to put you to the trouble (unless you're feeling magnaminous of course :D).

i have both versions so

No problem at all man, I'll watch and record sector times and exits speeds etc. for ya tonight. Off hand I have no idea what any sector times were cause I never looked,if I watch for them I end up screwing up, I only watched lap times and then only for a split sec. cause the first turn.

Chuck the replay at me please... :D

I'm overflowing with consoles and GTs from every region!

Just watched my replay, excluding lap 1 all sector 1 times were between 32.854 and 33.936. All sector 2 times were between 1'12.108 and 1'13.181 (except lap 8 when I lapped the AI cars which was 1'14.151).Lap times from 1'52.285 -1'53.948 (except lap 8 again 1'54.112 which would have been worse if I didn't have the lead AI to draft on the final straight) I crossed the SF line between 143 -146 MPH, the downhill before the hard right 122-127 MPH.Hope that gives you some insight.

Cheers, Drew. I'll try and compare those against my replay and see if it shows where I was lagging 👍.

If you could zap the replay off to Famine (if you haven't already), that would be a big help, as I'm sure he and I could arrange a get together for a viewing on his NTSC kit {it'd give us an excuse for a friendly LAN battle and a beer or two }.

Try this file, it may be the correct one.

EDIT: Never mind this is a Mission file ,I'll try again.
