Hi,

I'm new here and i'm not able to submit my lap time at the leadboard section so i thought i might as well post it here!

I just drove a 1:23.791 at the Twin Ring Motegi Road Course!!! Using a Polophony Digitial '04. I don't see anybody faster then that at the leaderbords so please tell me if one of you guys can beat that time.

Tell me that's in Kilometers per hour, otherwise my brain just broke.

Hell the whole thing just broke my brain. It was like getting out of a K-car and into a group C.
 
All of that guy's videos are nuts, I watched a few last week actually. I'm pretty sure he time around Nurburgring in the 4 minute 50 second range, maybe faster, I can't remember. Basically, I'll never beat any of the lap records he has set.
 
I was going to dispute his time, but on viewing the video, I can see 1 wheel stayed on the track at the 2nd to last corner before he kerb-hopped.

Hey that was kinda awesome, you should pratice more to beat the record Poochie!

I tried it, but my time wasn't good, I just drifted in the last corner and my wheels go into the dirt....:grumpy:

Guess Ill'e practice the last corner, I'lle post my record afterwards.:)

You get the all black F1 for 100%.
You can win one in a variety of colours from the Nurburgring 24hr race in the endurance hall, which you have to be more than 25% complete to enter, so you should be OK.

GT4 Printable car specs, race requirements list & prizecars.

Check in there, download the zipped word document in post #7, and you should find everything you need to know about what is available, where you'll win what car, how much prizemoney you'll get and what restrictions apply to race entries. ;)
 
1:18.. pretty swift..
i do 1:25 for Test Course With a GT-ONE with Wheelie Setup + Gameshark HP x 60 multiplier in GT3, but that' the first lap, every other lap is like not even a minute.

in any case, this was fast.. i doubt i can top such precious cornering let alone not having a wheel..
 
I completely misseed this topic, so I apologize for reviving a dead one. Anyway, some clarifications:

* The video is indeed in km/h
* I actually believe that run was done in Arcade mode, so the maximum power increase was used as well as the weight decrease.
* My game is unmodified. I'll admit that I used gameshark to unlock every car for $1 way back when (long after I completed the game; I wanted some nice duplicates. I then added a ton of cash for mods and other such things.
* Anyway, the lap above is in arcade mode and is rather sloppy. Check the GTRP records..
* Here's a much cleaner lap done in GT Mode, but I no longer recall the settings used. Gearing is most important, especially for the fast esses before the final hairpins.
* More videos in signature (shameless self plug).
 
Not that its required, and my opinion will mean little to most guys these days, but im vouch for this guy is for real. he and has raced with and along side myself back in GT3 and GT4 days as well as raced with myself in 2 GTP Board challenge races.

anyway i also have GT5P ;), I only race it in pro physics so far though. What combo are you doing? might try it as well to compare.. having not played a GT game since BC6 im not sure of my speed compared to my rivals hehe.

Too much PC sim racing lol.

Tried the GT-R R35 at Eiger on S3 and Pro Physics. Finished middle in the order after some improved. Also tried a 30 minute session in the F2007 at Suzuka East -- finished 4th, .7 behind or so.

Many cars yet to buy and try and shamefully I have yet to try the game without ABS. I'm still adjusting to pro physics.
 
I went to arcade mode then chose Suzuka with the R35GTR on S2's (cant change this it seems) and of course pro physics no aids except ABS (again cant see how to turn it off). Very fun combo. I think im 4th on the leaderboard only about 40mins worth though, but with more time i certainly see that i can improve it.

I'm sure you will. I used S3 tires as it was before the JPN update.
