Who would like to see something like this in the game? I would be all for some point-to-point real driving roads like Tail of the Dragon, Stelvio Pass, California Rt 1. Even Test Drive Unlimited had some great ones on the Hawaiian islands...This would bring a different and new flavor to GT instead of the classic but made up previous GT tracks.

Its a good idea, but...
That would involve lots of modeling, licensing (I think??), and complicated stuff. Not to mention the authorities being against it because the roads may become a tourist attraction for fast, reckless, and illegal driving in general.

This is a cool idea, but would take a very long time to produce. Kaz said it takes 6 months to render a premium, and up to a few years for a track. That's why PD is the best IMO, their extreme attention to detail.

^ this. I love the little details. Like the holes in my brake rotors actually being holes you can see through and not black dots.

This I would love. Or atleast some type of point to point made up road courses.

Gunsai touge!

Not gonna happen, ever.

Read somewehere that PD must make every track (especially the street circuits) look as much as racing circuit as possible.
The closest we can get to public roads is Toscana in course generator.

If they can't even get together an old classics track pack you've got no hope of a new tracks pack.

Now that's a great idea! Best request in this forum at the moment!

They don't need to give them the actual name of the road.
This one:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yungas_Road

Without invisible walls, of course! ;)
Oh please listen to this man!

With dynamic weather! :nervous:

Now we're talking!

Cat and Fiddle, Derbyshire/Cheshire border, England. Amazing road, really ridiculously good for racing! Of course it won't happen for previously stated reasons
