Welcome one and all to my new video to celebrate one of my absolute favourite games of this entire generation of gaming. A game that is fraught with danger, craziness and genuine awesome, all stuffed inside a boost tank waiting to explode!

Having had this game for almost as long as its 1st anniversary (from release in the UK) it has been one of the best gaming experiences, and with that I have decided to celebrate the game in a way it deserves to be celebrated: a huge montage of everything the game has to offer.

This is my first ever attempt at such a large video project with so much effort, so even if it isnt your fancy, I hope you enjoy it all the same, and i hope you enjoy the video!

Lunatics Unite!

That's a great video, it shows a lot of the fun bits from the game even if the video was quite long.

I still play Motorstorm Apocalypse every so often, it's a great game and is really easy to just pick up and play even if you haven't played for a long time as the physics are much easier to adjust to then games like GT5. I preferred Motorstorm Pacific Rift, that's probably one of the most addictive and hardest games I've ever played and you really had to perfect your lines to win the 8th tier festival events.

Glad you liked the video :)

I was also originally going to use a much shorter song, but i felt it wouldnt do Apocalypse justice, so i wound up using a song that strained on everything Apocalypse had to offer, barely getting everything in :D

I have also been a Motorstorm fan since the PS3 was out with the original and i did love the Rift for a while, especially in 3 player split-screen multiplayer, even after half a year of Apocalypse had been out, we would still go on the Rift.

Me and my friends only decided to split-screen on Apocalypse because for 2 months straight, each session we ended up in the same positions over and over and got tedious, lets say the sessions have become a lot more exciting now and thats why ive loved Apocalypse ever since for split-screen, and realised that Apocalypse is my favourite Motorstorm.

Still, I'll always have fond memories of Sugar Rush and those evil final tier challenges

The choice of music is awsome. The video is long but I stayed the whole clip for the music although I agree the game is fantastic. I myself have dormant plans to do a tribute video for Formula One Championship edition but I need to buy good video capturing equipment first because I wanna make it in HD. I've been researching music for that a bit but haven't found anything quite right yet. It needs to be upbeat, positive, timeless and exiting sort of. Probably no hardrock though. Will post once I get it done. You pushed me forward a bit :)

Glad you liked it and also good luck on your Formula One CE Tribute video Alltidxx,

As mentioned my previous post earlier, I was going to utilize a completly different song, but it wasnt long enough to fit everything the game had to offer, but I still wanted a song that felt mesmerizing, not too hard yet upbeat whenever possible (although this is dependent on the type of game sometimes, I myself dont like too much hard rock either :p), and also with a nice melody to it and I feel the one I chosen for the finalised video fit quite well.

I suppose it also helps that the song used also has the same name as the video itself

A very good first attempt, but if I may offer some constructive criticism given the general consensus. I don't claim to be an expert, I can't make good videos or edit them but I think I've seen enough to know something .

It's not necessarily the pure length of the video or song, it's the lack of pacing the song should add to the video. The song is relentless and some of the clips didn't fit the song well, the animated cutscenes often weren't matched to the assault on my ears where the destruction and action sequences direct from the game were. I think there's 2 alternatives to this, either a shorter sharp action assault of <4 minutes or a longer video which has a 'break' in the middle where the song breaks down and you can add more scenic and artistic scenes before reaching the final climax of the video with the most epic clips.

Still, I'll always have fond memories of Sugar Rush and those evil final tier challenges

Sugar Rush was a great track, even after spending a whole month trying to beat the last eliminator event on it just so I had all the gold medals I still remember it as one of the best tracks.

The music for your video seemed to fit with what the game is about, being fast paced and not too hard on the ears. The video could probably be shorter but I understand that you've spent a lot of time on the game and there is a lot of content to put in to one video. I seriously have no idea on what makes a video good though, I just watch a video and I either like it or I don't so sorry I can't really suggest much.
