Worst Luck with 2.0

So I copied my gamesave the day before to my flash drive and took it to my girlfriends house for some school work. Came back home and left the flash drive in my pants. When I get out of school I call my brother to update my game so it'll be ready to play. Turns out it DELETED my gamesave. And worst, my mom decided to wash clothes that day and didn't take out my flash drive. Now I'm stuck at the very beginning again. Has anyone experience the removal of their gamesave???

I have been thereXD i was in lvl 40 a sec and b-sec40.. but then I whent out from a online game lobby and when it saved my game it was freezed and i didnt have a backup-.-
 
Your brother is trolling you. Updating the game doesn't delete the save. Give him a kick in the balls.

Having said that, I backed mine up to USB and another account on the PS3 before updating.
 
I'm playing my game now. He wouldn't delete it. I know the update wouldn't delete but i guess it did.
 
Maybe he deleted it by accident. I've had my data get corrupted when copying to and from USB, never deleted tho. I also periodically save to pc as a extra back-up precaution, especially if you've made significant progress in the game.

I'm just trying lvl up fast. Maybe some cars on share? Any would be better than what i have at the moment.

Can also put any car to share .....nearly at 900 now so I've 90% of the decent one's

My flash drive went through the washer and came out perfectly fine.
 
And that's why I have a:
PS+ cloud backup
USB backup
Alternative PS3 user backup
Failproof system right there. 👍

Just play the special events in Seasonals. You will get loads of money and xp without needing to buy a car for the event. Then do the other seasonals and you will be lv 30 in no time!
 
Kekke2000, that's my plan. I have great people sharing their cars to do the seasonals.
 
Sorry for your loss. Add PDCrocks and I'll give you my Enzo so you can grind and some more stuff. (Supension isn't tuned right, but I dominate in it so....)
 
Even though the flash drive got wet the game save might still be there. Blow out the flash drive to get all the moisture out then try it.
 
My flash drive is attached to my keys. They spent a week outside, including hurricane irene.

My fj cruiser alarm, wifes sahara alarm and thumb drive all work perfectly
 
You must have one tough flash drive Caz. I'm not playing around about this. I welcome any friend invites and check out my platinum. Then go see my lvl in game and its lvl 20 atm. O understand that some people have gotten their flash drive wet, its very fortunate that theirs still work.

Sorry, i wasnt trying to say you were lying if you took my post that way. More so a comment " Hey, try your drive out. You might get lucky.

Tough flashdrive, wouldnt have thought so. It is a cheap staples store branded 16 gig. With no cover. Def just got lucky.

Send fr to my psn if u need a car. Would not mind sending u any tradeable cars in my garage. Can't help u with xp loss but can help u rebuild ur garage.

No problem. I have a feeling alot of my posts get taken the wrong way. 99% of my posting is done from my phone. Its hard enough trying to get my spelling, grammar and punctuations fairly correct and readable on quick posts. :) so i tend to cut things short and come off looking like a donkey. Totally the opposite of how i really am.
