Last night i won a salmon pink yaris.

It was hideious, i know i can't win the prize from the club man cup again but i couldn't have this POS in my garage it had to go.

Can this be beaten?

LiVE FaST - BrEAk LaTE

I won that same POS as well. I would love to drive that thing of the bridge on Grand Valley!!

How about the worst car ever on GT!!

Fiat 500

Bhp - 21.5
Performance 0-60 - Never or only acheived after free falling from a cliff, bridge, aeroplane etc...
Handling - Like a fridge or Washing machine.
Other Uses - Anchor for a ship!

;)

Hmmm. I don't know which one is the worst. Personally I dig the Mini. I'd have to go with the pink Vitz!! :ill: Even though I don't hate it, it is kinda hideous.

That POS is actually quite useful. In GT3, you can compelte the game with only having to buy 2 cars.

By selling that Yaris, you'll have to buy one to complete the Vitz/Yaris challenge.

Some of the cars described as POS's aren't.

Now if you want to take a look at GT4, you'll find plenty.

Yeah, you're right. I don't really know why I dragged this thread up, I was bored at work I guess. But you're right...pretty much any prize car can be useful in the game.

I think the 'Pink' aspect of the pink vitz is possibly the main cause of detestation here, since the Vitz car itself is not bad for its class.

I remember the the Fiat 500r from GT2, so extraordinarily
underpowered it was likeable. I remember trying to use it on the Pikes peak hill climb, it started rolling backwards even with full throttle:scared: . Maybe I should have tried going up in a zig-zag!? But before I first saw it from the name (500r) I thought it was related to the mighty Nismo 400r! Boy was I wrong.

As for the worst prize, apart from the likes of the Vitz and Dihatsu, I think
the Beetle rsi is quite boring (I used to love old beetle, but the new is just too big)

Worst prize in GT2...the Subaru Legacy GT wagon! I mean, criminy...you can frickin' buy one for cheap!! It's like: gee thanks guys....no really! :dunce:

Best prize (or at least my favorite this week) in GT3 would have to be Honda S2000 LM.

when you win the lightweight champienship you win a dumb mini cooper.
Wow. He didn't deserve to play GT3. The Mini is a great car. I wish it was in GT4 as well, instead of the new BIGI.

And do not disrespect the Pitz.

I didn't mind the Pitz, knowing I'd need it for two Vitz-based championships.

What was more of a smack in the face was getting a green Vitz for completing the Expert-caliber Vitz series (10-lappers of SSR11, Test Course, et al). Didn't anyone at PD think I might already have one already to enter, and complete 2 hours later, the said championship?

Ditto, the TT series, et al.

Prize car award choices were all wet in GT3 and only got worse in GT4.

You've had GT4 this whole time and haven't known that there's a Deux-chevaux? wow.

can't wait to go head 2 head with someone...old Beetle vs. 2CV!! :D
The Beetle thoroughly smites the 2CV. The only really good thing it is useful for (besides the 2CV race, of course; and arguably laying the smackdown on Subaru 360's) is putting shiny gold rims on it and pretending you are some kind of French gangster or something.
Though putting a racing suspension on it and jacking it up leads to equally hilarious results. Especially with the pink one.

Haven't really touched GT4 too much...I've been too obsessed with the 3rd game :guilty: But I'm getting back into GT4 soon. :) I believe when I do I'll be thoroughly addicted. It'll be a bit frightening in a way :scared: bc after a year and a half of GT3, all the variety of 4 will make me go like this

 Looking forward to that.

Gt4 prize cars a worse than GT3:indiff:

But I thought it had loads more cars than GT3?

(I've had GT4 for a while now sitting on the shelf, while I complete
GT3)

I totally agree with the annoyance of winning the sames care you just raced with:yuck:

The Almighty Pink Vitz?!?!?!:irked:

C'mon, now. Don't burn the Almighty.

Uncool.👎

IMHO, the biggest waste of time and effort is the friggin Nike thing (GT4). Can't race it, can't sell it, can't do anything with it other than allow it to sit on the shelf or simply dispose of it.

I actually enjoyed the 2CV series, and the Subaru 360's. A lot of (very slow) fun. :D

Biggest annoyance, as already raised, is the winning of cars that you have just raced ( particularly when i have had to buy the bloody thing in order to race). The exception to the rule is when the winning car is a 'special edition' version.

I have much respect for slower cars! After all, my very first Playstation car was a Ford Ka (Ford Racing by Empire Interactive). I bought Ford Racing bc I knew Gran Turismo would be 10x better and I wanted to try a lesser game first.

Anyways, if I had jumped in...say...a Mustang instead of the Ka, there's no way I would have learned to approach and master cornering as well as I have. I'll always cherish the Ka (as well as the Fiesta, the Demio, the Cappucino...)

Memory recall - the two benz motor wagons gave me the irrits as well...there should have been at least some resale value on these, or the option to soup them up and race them..now, that would have been fun. A benz motor wagon taking on a viper :D I took one for a free drive, the sensation of speed as it hit the magical 10 mph mark was just incredible. Then overrevving, and dropping back to 7mph.

Nah...that would ruin it for me. You have to remember that in 1889, there were no "upgrades"; nobody was racing yet..it was a miracle that such a device as the horseless carriage even existed!. The horse was superior to the car so far as speed was concerned. Matter of fact, steam and electric cars were actually preferred over gasoline early on since gasoline cars were noisier, smellier, and dirtier! And they all went pretty much the same speed.

Yeah, i know they are impossible to upgrade. But geez, to be able to drop in a 700HP block, and add all the assorted bits and pieces woulda been fun.

I'm not up on gameshark use in GT4, but last I heard it seems GT4 isn't shark-friendly?

It's not like I hate the 2cv...I say it's the worst prize car because the one you get is PINK. I'll even live with the Benz motor wagen, and the Nike ONE is fun to take around the track, but no way in hell am I driving a PINK Citroen 2-cyl. Salmon pink at that.

My Worst prize car is when I was doing the Amateur All-Stars Championship, I won a flipping Nismo Skyline R-Tune

Like many machines in GT3, racing against Skylines and winning them gets to be all too common, does it not? Gets old fast...

Have you seen people swapping in the E-Tec engines? If not here ya go. http://www.fiestaturbo.com/featurecars/paulb/

I was a mechanic for 2 years and have had so many cars its just ridiculous really. Favorite was my 79 Malibu. 355sbc dyno it ran 455hp. I would love to find a Chevette and either stick a 4.3 vortec in it or a small block...:)

Yes it does, but about 150 laps of hard racing and you win a Nismo Skyline R-Tune thats worth about 25,000. And does about 320kph ( havent chacked that but its a guess.)
