i think the worst ps2 game is unfortunately CART fury. i was SO DISAPOINTED when i played this game for the first time. it looked professional until the actual racing happened. it only had half of the gold coast track, a dirt road shortcut with jumps at chicago, you let go of the accellator in the middle of a turn and the car snaps sideways, and UGLY BIMBOS all over the game. i was hoping for a great CART game, i got a pile of shait that belongs in hell

i dont know about the worst one ever, but the worst one ive ever played, and yet sadly own, is silent scope 2. its just not the same with out the gun. :(

Jak and Daxter. I haven't played the game, but it looks and sounds stupid. There could be worse games for PS2, though, and there probably is!

Wildcard: Jak and Daxter.

This is not to say "you are wrong". I was just so surprised to see it here since I rank it my 2:nd favourite after gt3. Mabye you don't like platform style games?

What?! I'd rate it very high on my list of good PS2 games.

Probably VF4.
VF4 for those who dont know is a fighting game, even rated as the best by many websites and magazines.

The game looks good on paper. Every character is a martial arts master, the gameplay is deep, there are reversals and combos, the moves look real, the graphics are gorgeous, but the problem is, as I said before, it looks too good on paper, but it plays very different. The movements are unresponsive, counters and reversals are nearly impossible to do, Akira's move are nearly impossible to do, bah, waste of a game. This game is better played in the arcades, not with a dualshock 2.

:odd:

Uhh, what VF4 are you talking about? The one I have is possibly the fastest fighting game on the PS2. Once you accieve the rank of High King the fights are insane! Also, who said you need to learn to play Akira? I always use Kage, who in my opinion has the best combonation of speed, damage, and move depth. Also, reversals are possibly the hardest thing to do in the game.

Oh here's my nominee: Crash Bandicoot - The wrath of cortex. as long as Naughty Dog made the game on ps1, it was a very good game. But then they left and went to jak and daxter and I was stupid enough to buy the ps2 game that they didn't make.

the worst ps2 game EVER was godai elemental force.... This game had such a low framerate...it was a pos.....luckly one mans garbage is another mans treasure as i gave it away for an old Dreamcast to one of my little brothers friends ahhahahahahha

the worst ps2 game is Surfing H20.i got it with the bundle pack when i got my ps2.

i got fed-up with it's controls.the game is so bad,me trading it in at eb would only give me 5 bucks for credit towards another game.

Stuntman also qualifies as the worst game ever made. It's so difficult I nearly threw my controller at a wall.

Difficulty is good - I loved Stuntman.

Suuure, mr 'I've got to practice it to beat my 10 year old brother' yeah.

I'm gonna say either Ridge racer 5, or Fantavision, that horrible fireworks game. Although at times Toca Race Driver was the worst game evar.

TOCA was great until the Le Mans shait.. I loved racing the SAAB 95 around Bathurst.

I mean at times it pissed me off no end, with it's crappy car physics (which does not apply to all cars) and annoying AI. But the amount of international tracks and different racing series makes up for it. And yes, Bathurst is the ****.

TOCA Race Driver - not worst, but definitely most disappointing.

I haven't actually played that many PS2 games, but from what has passed through my hands:
- Driving Emotion S - well, probably a bit harsh, because if they'd fixed the handling it probably would have been okay. Tell me this, though - why would you put a BMW 3 series on the cover when the Ferrari F50's in the game? Lucky I picked it up cheap second hand
- Surfing H20 - good call, Lt Doomsday. This would go pretty close. Bizarre game objectives that actually had nothing to do with surfing, incomprehensible controls, and nothing like what it attempted to 'simulate'. This was true rubbish.

IMO, its stupid to hate a game because its hard. The game just isnt for impatient people (I beat it in a week with persitance). I rated it as one of my highest. I just dont like the idea of some AI getting the best of me.

One of my picks for the worst game would have to be World Rally Championship made by Bam! Entertainment. The car physics sucked (its like the car was always loose, even on tarmac), the graphics of the cars didnt look to good (all the cars where kind of thin, especially the Focus), and the drivers didnt look real either. They put too much sound into it too. The crash physics werent very good either. Parts never fell off. You could fall off a cliff (that is, if it didnt reset you first  ) and land really hard and the car doesnt crumple at all, and sometimes the parts that can have problems wont, until you hit a rock at a slow speed that is. They also said it has vast, exspansive environments you could explore. Yeah right. You go off the track and it gives you 3 seconds to get back on before it does it for you. Dont get me started on the loading times. You have to wait forever just for a 2 minute blast on a very short stage. Wish I never bought it...

silent hill is bad in my opinion, shooting people with a damn pistol thats so small it sounds like a capgun and hitting people with a board with a nail on it...fun
