worth buying GT concept

hi every one,
i was just wondering if any one has played GTc?
and if you have, do you think i should get it,because it is cheap,$60 austrailan, most games are like $100 when thay come out here.
any help would be good

Well the game is quite short but its good for multiplayer, ive had the advantage of being able to play the japanese version some time ago and I managed to 100% complete the game in around 3 hours with all golds on the licences. From what ive heard the PAL GTC thats coming out very soon has allot more new cars and graphical effects, but its arcade only. If your a real GT fan youll probably buy it, but I reckon when it comes out there will be allot of threads saying how short the game is.
 
yeah i am a GT fan, so i was going to buy the game anyways, just won't to see if it was worth my hard earnt KFC money. i read the GTC post before with all the questions and answers, 6 tracks and 100 cars and no gran turismo mode is a bit of a turn off, but $60 isn't to much, i guess i'll buy it.

Just think of it as a stop gap untill gt4 ;)

In another thread the :au: members are saying it's delayed, has your Store confirmed the release date for you to pick it up?
 
Correct me if i'm wrong but i think that it is $69.95 AU. I checked the EB but they said Friday. if it's any later, i will be forced to hijack the airplane/ship with GT Concept and bring it here early as possible :mad: :mad:
 
i am just going by the junk mail, i got the K mart thing in the letter box and it said GT Concept, and it had a pic of the game, and had $59.99.It doesn't have any thing saying release date around it, so i went in and asked the dude if they have it and he said "no, would you like to put it on hold", and being the gran turismo freak i am, i'm not going to say no to a question like that, am i.They haven't rang me up to say it is going to be late, so i am just hoping thay ring on friday night or saturday, or i'll just pop in on sunday.

$60 for a game? I know I like the GT series, but no game is really worth that much! I'm extremely hessitant when the games are still $50!(And yes, I'm thinking in $US, and I don't know what the exchange rate is for a lot of other currencies)

So, considering that GTC isn't even a complete game, I'd rather just wait until FIFA2003 comes out, then get GT4 afterwards, and hopefully find the ethernet adapter before that.

P.S. I also plan to find Tekken4 sometime before GT4, that'll happen, right?
 
Remember these guys are in australia so there dollar is different to the us one. Please dont buy Fifa2003 EA dont know how to make soccer games if you droped a decent one on their ass and then set fire to it. The best soccer game you can get for the PS2 is called Pro Evolution Soccer although you may find it hard to play initialy when you get used to it the game is much more realistic and exciting than fifa. I already have a friend who has a pirate copy of the Japanese version of tekken 4 so I would give you a definite yes on that one.

That was the price I was quote - but EB Chatswood (Sydney) advised they'd been moved back to Wednesday 24 July.
 
He he its still gonna be released this friday on the uk

Is it only $60 in Australia. But I'm not thinking of buying it cause i saw a preview box of it and it says on the back that it is only an Acarde game with all the cars already done up 4 u. So u carn't buy cars or do them up or win money.
 
Its worth buying, but.. why didnt they put more courses in? That's what im frustrated at!

Yeah, I think it's listed at $59.95.

Yea good point, I'm gonna miss Laguna Seca, Seattle, etc... ssoo much :cry:

Ah well I guess having Autumn Ring makes it up a bit :D
 
What tracks have gone and what have come in???
 
The courses are; Midfield, Autumn Ring, R246, Tahiti Maze, Swizz alps! Thats it!! :(
All though.. you get a BIG FAT VERY usefull Bonus halfway of the game!!! :D Thanks Poly,, i needed that!
