Would a "Comparison Thread" be appropriate or no?

Just a question I'm throwing out towards the GT5 Section, I was wondering whether at the moment a Comparison thread would be suited for GT5 right now (kind of like a "people ask me sort of thing and I'll get a comparo back to them")

Just wanted to get approval instead of possibly looking like a dunce.
 
I'm not really sure what you're asking here, GT_Prologue5. Are you talking about a general comparison thread, where you compare GT5 to a hot summer's day? Or are you talking about a comparison thread where you compare GT5 to Forza 3 or the Need for Speed games or similar? Because while the first one is fine, the second is a little objectionable. However, I don't think we'll be able to judge one way or another until such time as you give us some specifics.
 
I thought GT5 to GT4....yeah. Need to help us out a little :D!
 
You could tie it in to a car review type thread perhaps. I think that would be cool. A thread where we can ask how a car performs before buying it with comparisons to rival cars. Assuming it hasn't been done of course.
 
That's what I was aiming for, or if anyone's looking into 2 cars and needs another party to help them. Just wanted to ask the Mods before havinga thread holed up.
 
I wouldn't have a problem with such a thread.
 
Okay, thanks. I will probably get it started tonight. It wouldn't be a tuning one though, because I'm going to ask that people stick with stock vehicles when suggesting.

EDIT: the thread is up. If a Mod sees this, go ahead and close this thread if you want.
