Tuscany seems to be able to do tarmac AND gravel on the same model. Just blue-skying, but does anyone else think that the option to put gravel down instead of tarmac on any track you chose would be a great addition to the game?

For starters, most of us wouldn't need the inane in car driving instructions that are usually out of sync with the course from the rally tracks... we already KNOW most of the tarmac tracks pretty well..! And some of them (Cape Ring springs to mind) would make epic rally sections.

More tracks always seems better. A BUNCH more rally tracks would be cool, IMO.

Reverse might be good too... Eiger rally paved over would be a fun track, too!

That would be epic, driving down mulsanne straight on gravel

The 'Ring with gravel..............................

I loved the cheat in the first need for speed where you could change any track to gravel.
They did not change the textures but the physics where gravel-like. :D

One track changed completly though.

Tarmac Eiger Rally would be great and an gravel-oval would be cool too.
Nascars/Muscle cars with dirt tires = epic stock car racing in GT5 :D

What a great game the fist Need for Speed was! Beautiful fast cars, picturesque and long point to point tracks, amazing handling where every car had character! Diablo was extremely fast with huge grip but heavy and understeer-y, 512TR fast and lively with great sound and the 911 was an unforgiving car where once you lift your foot of the throttle you would spin and crash! :dopey:

The first Need for Speed on PC with the Thrustmaster Formula T2 wheel... great times... :D

In fact, Eiger rally tarmac would be the ONLY road course in the game with SERIOUS elevation changes...!👍

It was my first game for my first computer on win95 :D
I played it for hours over hours.

Epic game. All the background information for every car. Dia-Shows, Videos..
And of course.. those superb cop-scenes when they got you :sly:

Honestly there was/is no racing game that had/has the same quality...
A remake of this would be insane(oh i love that one too :D)
Imagine TNFS with todays gfx and physics standards..

BTT:

Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, Autumn Ring.. would be great gravel-tracks too.

I'd be happy if they just brought back the GT4 tracks which had tarmac to dirt/gravel and snow to wet/dry transitions.
