Would anyone be interested in a Ferrari F1 league?

I've been contemplating organizing a F1 league and wanted to test the waters to see if anyone would be interested. This would be a league for mature racers with average skill who want to participate in F1 racing in a "serious-about-racing-but-laid-back-about-other-stuff" atmosphere.

F10 or F2007
10 sunday races over 12 weeks
Prizes!?!


So, who would be game?

Awesome! At least someone has got the same itch I do.

If I receive a few more responses of interest I'll put up the official F1 league post for us so we can get things under way.

F1's are hard to drive, it's fast, and it takes a lot of skill from the drivers not to hit, punt or damage eachother. Would the race have damage? TCS, ASM, SRF, Active steering, Driving Line?

Cars used? Only FGT? Only Ferrari F10? Only Ferrari F2007? Only Ferrari F1's? All Formula-cars in the same race?
I ask these questions cause the performance is different in each car. So I'd like to have a "single make" F1 race for tight and intence driving..

EDIT: I read the OP a little sloppy I guess.. Ok, I'd like the race with the Ferrari F10. Feels more "up-to-date".

You can drive either the F10 or F2007. From what I've seen racing the F10 wins in the twisty bits while the F2007 has a bit more top end speed.

I have been considering having people choose either the F10 or F2007 at the beginning of season and stick with it the whole way, but I'm not sure if that would be helpful or hurtful. Thoughts?

As for rules? I had planned for any assists to be ok but NO SRF . No damage. No penalty. Not sure about track edge grip settings.
