I’m not sure what’s of greater interest, my awesome choice of lyrics or this copy cat. A Whois search reveals that faux GTP’s been around since early 2004…

Have I been living under a rock, or has this been brought up before?

I'm not sure - I seem to recall Jordan having a discussion with someone else before, but I don't know if it was this guy or not. Thanks for posting it.

I remember there was a bunch of PM's sent advertising GT Boards or something, maybe they changed their name.

I have seen that before, but at least it's not as bad as the website who copied-and-pasted the entire site, including links to our graphics, pictures, and files! :dunce:

Haha, we're so good people are copying us. Cool.

Who cares though, we OWN that. We have automotive news, opinions, forums, more mature members (for the most part), MUCH better mods, and Artistic Competitions.

Those are the real reasons Im here, as I (:() Dont have Gran Turismo.

Yeah, that's the guy of whom I was thinking.

Whoa, you don't have GT? I'm thinking of personally buying you a copy right now. :sly:

WOW. I hope you tore him a new one Jordan? ;)

Yeah, that'd be something. Why can't he sign back up and ask again, give us a few more laughs, he might want to report Jordan again.

The lack of a forum (and lack of response when he asked if anyone would be interested in one), the lack of any real content, and the sparse comments are proof enough that "Gran Turismo Planet" has no real reason to exist.

I must admit, if the site had a different name, and if it didn't say "Your #1 Source for Gran Turismo News" in the corner, I would kinda feel bad for the guy.

Gives the guy a REALLY dirty look.

That'll learn ya!

It's somebody's little blog, and a half-informative site for casual fans of the game. I suppose the owner wanted to praise the game with a site.

I seriously doubt it was created with the intention of causing harm, slandering, or stealing away visitors from GTPlanet.net.

He needs to trim the spam from his comments. It's not as if he's gotten that many.

Retards. Plain retards that cant be creative or at least intelligent.

I say we send millions of emails to the guy showing him the real GTP from us members. Then we keep doing it many more. :sly:

Just to teach him a lesson.

I remember this guy because I brought up this same topic quite a while ago. I believe Jordan's official response was for all of us to leave the guy alone.

Now, the guy who copied everything from this site is new to me. Not very nice, indeed.

EDIT: Correction; it was sn00pie who suggested to leave the guy alone.

Here's the old thread now... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=64627

Yes :)

Now the guy who copied and pasted everything: , does anyone have a link to the site? It's probably long gone, but it's worth trying to find an archive of it somewhere.

It was a PSP site I think, it looked exactly like GTP6.

Well, at least he didn't try to copy...
There is no need to harass this guy, he's doing a great job of creating his own content and a fine job on his website.
