Alright I just finished Vitz Pro and am on the Formula GT. I just did Seattle and won by about 3 laps. I'm sure you all know of the save/reload trick right? Good. I plan on saving at the end of race 9, to both cards. Then I will win a car, save to card1. Reload 2, win car, save to card 1. Reload 2, win car, save to 1. By now there should be 3 F1 cars in Card one, along with all the other stuff of course, with Card 2 still saved after race 9. This is just like the trick but instead of saving to 2 I would save to one. I suppose this would work either way right? If I did the trick normally all the cars I won would be on card 2, and I guess I could switch the cards. I'm just saving to one for convinience. I don't care which way I have to do it. Anyways, I would then keep repeating this until I have all F1 cars and colors without spending a dime on one of the cards. Tell me, would this work?
 
well, no....

Once you save over card 1 then you can't just load it from the 9th race.

But, however, if you save to card 2 the first time then to card 1 it would work.
 
No what I mean is I don't care if I save to 2 or 1. Say I save to Card 1. Reload 2. Save to 1. Reload 2. Save to 1. That's one way, the other: Save to card 2. Reload 1. Save to 2. It kinda confusing, but both involve saving to 1 card, then reloading the other.

No you can't do that. The first time you save to the save that starts at race 9 it will no longer start there and you will have to redo the races to get the other cars.
 
yeah, you'll lose the car you saved the first time for the second car.
the same way for the third.
now, if you had like 4 cards, you could save the game onto each one and then buy the cars all onto a single game, thus accomplishing what you're trying to do.
 
Yeah I just tried it, when you save to 2 it overwrites it... Got F686/M and F688/S (one for series one for done proffesional) Anyways I'm keeping the save after race nine.
 
Ah well it was worth a shot? :D

Anyway it'll be more rewarding if you race another series to get the others? :chkflag:
 
You can do it if you have 3 cards or a Sharkport and a game save with a lot of money. I did pretty much that... have a save with the beginning of race 9 of the GT series on it, finish and save to a separate card, then buy the car I won to a third save. Doing this I got all the F1 prize cars from the GT series after running it only once.
 
I'll tell you what you can do with two cards though... you can win two prize cars for each series you enter. Save after the second to last race and finish the series, and save onto a different card. Then you can reload and finish the series again to win a different prize car, save over the almost done save, then purchase the first prize car.
 
If you just use to cards and only get one extra car it works...
If you save after race 9 on both cards then save 1 prize to card 2 and then reload card 1 and get the desired car and buy the car from card 2 it works...
 
Yeah, no cow boobies! I just did that there two card doo-dad thing after running the Polyphony Cup races and had to buy the F094/S to the save I wanted it on and the frickin' thing cost me over 3 1/2 MILLION!!

I figured it would be a million or so but sheesh! I'm down to only 1 1/2 million credits now.
 
the same thing happened to me when i bought a car off of my friends saved data i did'nt get charged the 800 thousand or so credits it took the 3 1/2 million off me that sucks i would have been better off just running the race

I know not to do that again:p
