Are you kidding?
I was thinkin about if you could get an old-ish Volvo estate, and
take out the back seats, and put a lump V12/ V8 in. Would it be possible to connect the engine to the rest of the car?

Oh and take out the front engine, and put counterbalance in, Yay!

If you could do this, it would be THE COOLEST car ever.

hard one, they have done it on a clio (the V6) and i have heard of a V8 kit for Focus', i dont imagine it would steer very well, too much weight. Give it a go, and see how fast you can pull a carvan in it.

P.S 911_Carrera wants to put a V6/8 in a ford Ka

Here in Sweden there are a few volvos that got a v8 conversion, most uses chevy SB in a 1/2/7/900 volvo. But that's of course a regular front engine conversion.

I've seen it done to a crx - Too bad the owner was too stupid to reinforce the body/chassis...

If you have the money, you can do just about anything.
However, you'd have to find someone interested in doing such a conversion.
Then you have to ask youself, why?
Yeah, it would be a sleeper, but dang! C'mon.

But Gil, think of yourself at the lights, with 2 Ferraris and Porsche.

Whooping their asses, Sweden style ( just like GTjugend:lol:)

Can I just put a 428SCJ with a pair of Four Barrels, in a ratty '64 Falcon, with a Muncie M-21, and a 4:11 final drive.
Or Al Bundy's famed Dodge (actually a Plymouth Duster) with a built 383 4bbl. and a really quiet exhaust. With a purpose built 727-torqueflite tranny, or even a Powerglide.
A mid-engined Volvo wagon, it just too much of an engineering headache.
Now putting one of the above engines under the hood....That might be fun.
