Well, then its just a question of whether the time and effort it takes to model each car is actually worth it. I think its fairly simple to model the 10 different teams cars easily, seeing as each car is the same basic shape, and the only differences are the slight design deviations in aero.
I think for me its more of a case of, if they can, they should, but if it requires a major effort to get the licenses/model the cars, then no, they should just have a few example F1 cars.
It just would be nicer to have the ability to run a full F1 field, rather than 16 F2007s.
I agree that they shouldn't make a whole F1 career mode into it, but at the same time, I would like to see championships in the game expanded a lot more, not just F1 championships, but other series too. This is really something for GT5 though rather than Prologue.
In conclusion, I'd like to see the balance of variety of vehicles to number of particular types of vehicle tipped a bit more into increased numbers in each vehicle type, rather than having 1 or 2 cars represting each type of racing, e.g. I'd rather have 12 or so F1 cars/Rally/Le Mans over 1 or 2 cars for F1/Rally/Le Mans/Touring Cars/Dragsters/etc. But at the same time to obviously keep Gran Turismo's tradition of having vast arrays of different cars.
