Would you like to see an online ranking system, to help you determine the skill level of your opponents. How do you think it should be implemented? An example would be a system based on your average finish /divided by/ the average number of cars you race against.

Motorstorm pacific rift had a dynamic level system , you could go up or down, in MS apocalypse they had a betting system , the more races you won the higher the price of beating you was on default * im a 1100 chip average racer , you can go up to 2000 default but most people are 300* you could go down if you lost your bet or higher if you won the race and your bet. I say gt should have a dynamic one

Drivers should all have rankings on the following:

1. Something around your average finish, weighted by the size and strength of the field and the length the race.

2. An accident/collision/safety rating.

3. A quit ratio indicating how often you stay to the completion of races.

Each of the above should visible to all participants in a race and online hosts should able to set minimum standards for their particular rooms which will prevent those not up to standard from entering to begin with. All rooms should able to be set up and change on the fly, whether the races are for fun meaning they don't affect your stats, or for real. People still need a place to gather to do things other than racing, like drag racing, cruising, dirty races etc.

Wish there was an option for don't care. If it's in there, great. If not, no problem.

A completion stat could be implements in a day without much thought, I wouldn't be surprised it was in the release, all are good suggestions. :) the middle one would need a senior programmer though. Although it would be great to have.

Would be fin if they pit in atime trail mode. Where penalties are on, and track records are divided in groups.
Where there is a car type limit - power limit - weight limit - assists limit (especialy SRF wich can make you faster)

If there are no filters then the ranking for each track wil just consist of basicaly one or two cars domminating.

Well said, I concour. 👍 It would be nice to filter out the quitters, especially for longer races. However, the game would have to be able to tell the difference between disconnects & actual quitters.
