Would you want Sony to remove the 100 friend limit?

Why would someone say no?

I believe the only one to say no would, or will, be Sony.

I can't see why it should be there in the first place, but, 500, is a maximum I would agree with, instead of 100.

The limit is there for memory purposes. I try to keep my friends list as close to 50 as possible for game stability. I couldnt care less about the limit. And whatever limit there may be, players will always want more.

I'm cool with a hundred. I still have alot of room before I fill it. If I see inactive for a month off goes that name.

Having my friends list full on Xbox Live used to freeze my games and console, I would imagine having too many friends on a ps3 might do the same thing.

yes, im now forced to delete a friend if i want to add a new one, and that choice gets tougher every time.

It doesn't effect me in the slightest but unless there is some sort of stability issue with more friends I don't see why there should be a limit.

Yes, I usually will choose the people who haven't signed on for months to delete. But it's getting harder and harder picking because I have lots of RL friends I need to keep, and juggling is a hassle. Everybody has 100+ friends on any social networking site, PS3 should be no different.

So where is the PS4 suggestion box?

Why would someone say no?
Exactly. Unless we understand what the consequenses are for releasing the limit, why would anyone? Having said that, I don't see how people reasonably need to have more than 100 friends on psn.

Facebook has a max of 5000. Some people have reached that limit. If you sleep and do other stuff for 8 hours a day and spend the remaining time on maintaining your relation with all those friends, you have 11,5 seconds to spend on each one of those per day. Great friends surely.
