Details for the revamped career. Separate paths for the different styles of racing/crashing.

The original Wreckfest drew inspiration from banger racing, but in the sequel, we're planning to go all-in on delivering an authentic banger racing experience. Banger racing is a uniquely British motorsport where old, cheap cars are raced with full contact allowed, and as such it’s a perfect fit for a game like Wreckfest.

We're planning to structure the Banger Racing discipline to mirror real-world progression: starting with Rookie Bangers, moving up to National Bangers, and ultimately competing in Unlimited Bangers.

This is all I want.

(There’s some family involvement in UK bangers and stock cars going back several decades so I’m hoping I can recreate the cars.)

So Dakar Rally: LeMons Edition? Sounds like the kind of thing that'd be fun to do with some rusty, bouncy old pickups and SUVs (no I'm totally not wishlisting here, what are you talking about).

I'm just waiting for the full release to be announced (hopefully console at the same time as PC). Every new post in this thread gets my hopes up for it. 😅 The car list and new race modes are looking amazing at the very least.
 
The wagon being a late '90s Mercedes-Benz E-Class feels quite appropriate, I used to see them everywhere back in the day but you couldn't give 'em away once their suspensions started to go out, and their current blue book value is almost nothing. Perfect demo derby fodder :lol:

New cars & races. First bits of career/progression. Full release still seems a way off, I don't see them shipping 1.0 in 2026.
