In real life, there is this "weird" type of competition called 6-day event. It consists of 6 consecutive days of track cycling competition where each pair of riders competes on a series of events. The winner is the pair with the most laps or, in case of a tie, the pair with the most points (it's a bit like a 6-day championship). I was thinking about it and I feel we can do this on WreckFest and it would be really fun.
Here are the possible events:
· Oval race = 5 to 10 minutes per race
· Figure8 race = 5-minute race
· Time trial = organized as a fake race (each car has 2-3 laps to set a fast time), fastest lap wins
· Elimination oval race = just for points, laps lost do not count
· Endurance oval race = up to 50 laps
· Special vehicle oval race = everyone would go with a Reliant Robin, a lawnmower, a bus, a sofa...
· Last man standing demolition derby
· Points demolition derby
Each day we would have 3-4 events (less than 1h) and the final event on the final day would be the endurance oval race (longest day). The points system would be set depending on the amount of entries for day 1.
The event would be held at either the NotIrwindale track (Big Valley) as it has everything we need or maybe Bloomfield (dirt oval) plus 1 of the demo derby-specific arenas.
