wrong thumbnails after game restore

I am reposting this in hopes to get an answer. I originally posted this in another thread but have not gotten any responses. I had a similiar thing happen that was in the original thread "Creating Thumbnails" except that this happened after installing a new hard drive. Most were done correctly but I have some that were not fixed correctly. I have a few that still show the wrong thumbnail ie. My 62 Buick shows a go kart and one of my Muscle Cars shows a Triumph Spitfire ect. . Does anyone know how to fix this or am I just going to have to live with it. The only option that I know of is to send the cars to a friend and then have him send them back to. I know I can't send the Buick since it was a prize car. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
Go to your garage and press triangle over any car and go down to "create thumbnails for all cars". You will need to do this for standards and premiums. It can take up to 8 hours in some peoples cases. (Twas reported in another thread).

As for the Buick, you can still send it as it's under 1,000,000cr. Doesn't matter if it's a prize car or not.
 
Ross, thank you for your response. I was doing them 1 by 1 because of the time factor. I have 150 premiums & 650 standards. Do you know if you can do the all cars option by make only? I try not to let my PS3 run for more than 4-5 hours at a time since I think the cooling really sucks. I'll give it a go on the premuims first and then do the standards later. The weird thing is that my Buick Special is a Favorite and the thumbnail for it is correct in Favorites but not in the garage. Thanks again for your response.

No, there is no manufacturer only option. And the reason for the wrong thumbnails is because the system recognises it as 2 different cars because they are in different folders.
