A relatively quick question regarding the WRS:

What happens if you get a time below the usual lowest time?
Is there a lowered rank class for all the slowest drivers on GTPlanet?

This is a completely hypothetical situation, I'm not talking about myself - it's just something I'd like to know.

There are 5 divisions split into three classes, Gold, Silver and Bronze. If you qualify slower than the slowest Div 5 Bronze time then you will still be in Div 5 Bronze I imagine (I don't know, though).

I'm going to try out for this. Should be interesting.

I've been working through the AMG events and so far I'm golding them all on my second attempt....

Well, I think you'll be placed in D5 Bronze, as that is the lowest division. There isn't really a 'noob class' either, but if there were, I would be a part of it; meaning the "middle" division has also got (a) slow driver. (Plus I am relatively new, and many years younger than the average WRS-driver .)

Are the times affected from the physics update? If so, should everyone be made to submit new times?

I haven't checked in a long time but I remember that being part of the discussion. You don't need everyone to requalify however, you only need establish new equivalent times for each division based on what the new physics make possible.

Like others have said if someone ran the 'slowest qualifying time of all qualifiers' they would be placed in Division 5 Bronze with the opportunity to advance based on performance in the following weekly events.

And I wouldn't use the term 'noob class' because to me that doesn't speak positively of drivers placed in the lower divisions. There are 5 divisions so everyone has a chance to compete for a win or a podium against similarly skilled opponents each week. WRS is a great way for people of all skill levels to improve their driving.

Division 3,4,5 drivers should also check out WRS Academy for online racing with similarly skilled drivers plus instruction from Division 1 and 2 drivers.👍

Nice

EDIT: I misunderstood his post.

And? What has this to do with WRS? Golding them means nothing really.

I'm going to try out for this.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that - I should've use some better wording. I'm definitely not in any position to comment on others' driving.:scared:

Thanks for all the replies folks, they helped tremendously.

Yeah I misinterpreted his post, sorry.

Confused golding them equalizing gold divisions... stupid I know.
