WRX Impreza vs. Lancer Evolution

This is an official 2ez2kill test of the Subaru WRX impreza vs The Lancer Evolution VII GSR. I am a sucky driver and i have never drove these cars before so i will be slower and will decide which is better by driving it the first time.

As you may already know the Subaru WRX and the Lancer Evolution have been rivals for quite a while and we will see which one is truly the best.. Or at least i think so


Both of the cars are STOCK and have no mods to them, Both of them have 4WD and are one of the top competitors in the WRC championship.. I will be testing them 2 laps around Midfield Raceway and then the 400m run 2 times.

Lancer Evolution VII GSR

Final thoughts on the Lancer: It is a fast car.. But the steering isnt very sharp and the acceleration is ok.. I think the lancer is the kind of car that would need A LOT of mods.. And stock, the car is slippery.. But the traction is excellent. I would give it a 7.5/10

Final thoughts on WRX: Excellent handling, a lot sharper than the lancer evolution's and the acceleration may be a bit slower because the gear ratios are way too high.. this car may be slower than the Lancer but it is still a lot better on the handling part. I give it a 8.9/10


This concludes my test.. If u have anything else to say to me plz reply.. I think ill be a gt3 car tester and if u have any requests for a test on some gt3 cars i will be glad to do it.. since i have no life and have nothing else to do

2ez2KiLL there has actually been a weekly race between these two cars here at GTP. From my experience in that race, i think the Lancer is a nice smooth car to drive and can get good times BUT the WRX is a bit harder to drive but can get the same times as the Lancer if its driven properly. I might be wrong though... thats just my experience...

tho you seem to have liked the scooby more, your test shows the lancer to be the faster car. I'll go the lancer any day. the 22b aint even as good.

The Lancer is qutie nice. BUT you'll notice that the entry of the turn and the behavior of both cars are not the same when entering a corner.

Why is it that everyone picks Midfield as a track to test on? It to me is so boring. SSR5, SSRII, Grand Valley, something with more turns would be better. Midfield has too much straights.

I'd go with the Impreza though, because I've been a believer in lower center gravity and balance.
