Sorry The359 - i think i'll have to sit out on this series - great as it sounds, fact is i still have no Group C car in my GT4 garage - the shame of it!
I was hoping to achieve 50% complete this weekend, but was busy and will be all week, so no XJR-9 for me.

As NoQuarter has pointed out, although weight penalty is set depending on your car, you are allowed to adjust the weight balance of the cars as you see fit. This falls under the freedom to adjust any of the settings on the car (other then Weight Penalty, TCS, and ASM).

First Practice session...Hot Laps in WC/Suzuka/Practice mode & T5s.

45.650 - 1'22.677 - 1'42.158

Still plenty of time out there.

Ran some 1:37s with super soft tires and some 1:46s with super hard tires, so I'll be figuring out my tire strategy for this race as well as fine tuning my setup.

the pug realy hits its stride right about the limiter, but, driveable execpt for that annouying gear box ... which is probably caused by the le mans spec endurance engine :|

Must say that this was a complete waste of 3.5 mil. The rollcage thing completely destroyed the handling of my car (787b). Ran great before this but now is undrivable. The pitwork "z" would own this car especially on this track. This is no fun what so ever now. 👎 👎 :yuck: :ouch: I'm out, see ya's.

The only good thing is it was not the GOOD BLACK ONE.

Uh, I'm using the 787B as well and find the car to be perfectly fine with the rollcage.

Did you even bother to mess with the settings of the car before you decided to up and quit? Did you even try for more then 5 minutes?

I think most of it is i use a DS2, it handled fine before the rollcage, after i put on the rollcage it got the most GAWDAWFUL PPUUSSSSSSSHH. Can barely run the times i was getting with the Pitwork Z (WRS wk13) and it was very easliy beating that by 3 seconds a lap. I have to let up and or break so much in the turns its pathetic, just to keep it on the track. When i finally do get by the Sauber, it does nothing but ram me in the turns and sends me off the track every time, WTF. Was VERY upset last night, as you can tell.

Note that i worked on the settings alot and it did very little to help. Cut the spring rate in half and raised the diff. much more than i ever have to try to get rid of the push it had. The first time out i thought i had RSH's on.

Will give it another try tonight. Don't worry, not upset w/you, just my drivng.

I'm using a DS2 with the 787B and find it completely well mannered after correcting it's snap oversteer under braking very early on.

Is your weight balance possibly set wrong? Or downforce?

Friendly Reminder: 24 hours left until times are due.

Race over...

Post the vid for now, I need to get the software to play it (probably tomorrow). If that fails, then you can submit all the lap times.
