Just to let you guys know that FP1 at Monza has literally just finished. Been watching it on EurosportPlayer on a special stream so it wasn't on Eurosport 1 or 2. Muller ending fastest.
But you would not have thought that at the beginning. The JAS Honda's were flying along with James Thompson who was also doing well in the Lada but when the RML's took to the track they seemed to just command the fastest times. Though Tarquini seemed to keep up with the RML's. Tiago appeared to be struggling to find faster and faster times and clearly slipped down the rankings behind drivers like Oriola who came from nowhere and like a rocket finished 3rd fastest but Tiago regained a place in the top 3 to end 2nd fastest.
Charles Ng hit a a barrier hard and took out most of the front of his beemer and Barth's bonnet seemed to fly up at the corner and buckle as he was flying down the start/finish straight.
The top 10 ended

3. Oriola
4. Chilton
5. Tarquini
6. Macdowall
7. Thompson
8. Njykaer
9. Coronel
10. Huff
