Yeah "Let's make a 400 hp FF touring car" is actually one of his worse ideas. The FFs would be way too slow. Even you realized the problem. 👍

Also, James did also cheat with a 500 hp Ford Focus in a Conti Tire race. He's so weird, why did he think we wouldn't notice how much power his Focus had? God, he took us for stupid or something. :grumpy:

A 500HP Ford Focus!?:crazy: What does he plan on using that thing for, drag racing!? You got jacked, man.
Anyway, it's a real shame that this idea seems to have stalled. Because aside from the high HP level for FF cars, it seemed like a good idea. I really liked the time trial around Monza in the rain. FF would certainly be preferable compared to FR in those conditions. Of course, we all know that 4WD would trounce them both.
 
Testing for the GTC I found the Honda (FF) to be as good as on par on dry conditions but as far as 2 seconds off in the rain.
 
Understeer. FF is wrong to start with. The weight distribution means, that, especially in the rain, FF cars will understeer. The rain water just means that the friction is reduced across the board, drawing out the handling problems beyond the normal amount.

FRs will oversteer even more, and FFs will understeer. Only problem is, the FF understeer is worse than the FR oversteer, because of the inertia the weight distribution caused by the layout of the drivetrains, FRs (with better weight ditribution) will rotate better.
