When Gran Turismo 4 came out, the key thing people wanted to talk about was online play, like the game itself was going to be just the same. In a completely different genre, "WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW" was a game to be implemented with online play, in addition to the usual ass-kicking. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw continues a highly-successful series of games including WWF Smackdown!, WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role, WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It, WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth, and the more recent WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain. This game is the third game to implement the draft lottery deal, whereas you can choose to side with the Monday Night action with Raw, or the Thursday Night (now Friday Night) action with Smackdown. You also choose if your character will have Clean Tactics or Dirty Tactics in the ring. How did this game stack up?
PROS: (favorite feature) a lot of customization for new characters, improved grappling physics, a good music mix of rock and hip-hop, (for those who like it) online play, set up your own Pay-Per-View events; improved damage physics, and easier to wear down opponents than in "WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain."
CONS: the "Mini Games" aren't really easy to win before a match
