X button not working in GT5 RESOLVED

All of sudden, meaning from today, everytime I go into GT5 my x button on the controller or my wheel are not working, and the only way to select anything is press the PS button twice to bring up the overlay and then make it hide again.

What do I need to do to get the X buttons working again? This is highly annoying and has just started today for some strange reason.

EDIT: I found the cause of it. It's my DFGT wheel. Don't know why it's acting strange when I have it plugged in all of a sudden. It was completely fine yesterday.

Will try and find a way of rectifying it myself. But I would be really upset if my wheel is broken.

EDIT2: Have resolved this now. I'm just an idiot. Sorry for wasting people's time.

Make sure you are plugging it into the second USB port and not the first.. I don't know why but this does have an effect on the wheel.. For example when I plug mine into the first port my brake pedal randomly sticks on

I've resolved it now. I had realised that my pedals were unplugged - don't know how that happened, I must have caught the wire by accident and pulled it out.
