Grinding can be pretty boring. Lets try to make it competitive and earn some Cr in the process.
Use the X1 (like the wind) or the ZR1 and post your best time for the 5 laps of the Indianapolis Speedway here, and be honest lol!!!

I'll get the ball rolling

X1 - 2:42.104 (not my best but it'll do for a start)

I wonder what settings could improve the time, I manage it at around the same time but wants it to be faster.

Lowest Downforce is a must to achieve the fastest speed.

ZR1 5 laps in Indy = 3.54.588
NASCAR Jeff Gordon #24 Car in INDY = 3.51.458

Very impressive valroize. Been trying to beat that ZR1 time for a while now.

My best so far in ZR1 is 3:56.707.

I still don't have a setup dialled in which lets me run the turns 100% flat out.

I never would have thought the nascar could do that!

My best in the nascar 4:01.002 !!!

I dont know about the 5 laps, but I can consistantly run 34 second laps in the x1. i would have to go back and look....

I've done 3:49 in the Nascar, Jimmie Johnson. Have not done that race in 2 weeks, atleast. I was doing the American Championship for money. Pays 98K versus less for others.

I highly advise against using your X2010 for A-spec grinding. It become undrive-able after 1000 miles or so. If you have 2 X2010s like I do, than use one for B-spec grinding and the other for fun driving in arcade.

S.Vettle X2010 - 2:40.035
Redbull X2010 Prototype - 2:39.112

i know not very good but both done with a DS3

redbull x2010 - constant 31.xxx laps
zr1 - constant 43.xxx laps

my bob is out grinding now but ill see what i can do for 5 laps when hes done

my bob just started Indy500 endurance with the X2010..second lap is 32.002. I'll check how fast I can do myself after the 200 laps!

I do the automatic rubber band grinding trick.

7 minutes 10 seconds for the Dream Car Championship Indy Event (10 laps)

I'm running 3:44.xxx in my Ford GT LM Spec II. I would try my ZR-1 RM, but she has a nasty understeer problem which causes me to slow down for the corners. Any suggestions? I have tried countless settings and nothing is working.

1 lap in 0.45(s) in the Zr1 max downforce

full race was like 3:54:xx

I think the Ford GT LM Spec II is much better for grinding Indy than the ZR-1.

My best time thru 5 laps is 3:41.477

3:42's in my Ford GT LM Spec II. Best car imo for this race because you never take your finger off the accelerator. Rinse, repeat. I just try to get sub 43 second laps. Thats the only way I try and keep from falling asleep.

I'm doing, again, the B-spec Indy 500... I created a new bob, called S.Vettel (!) and at level 0, keep doing constant 31.xxx lap, with X2010, with a best of 31.376, faster than my level 28 Bob. He also faster to pass car and wait less.

why are you grinding indy? there are some great races and cars to tune... if your using the X2010 over & over then what are you buying cars for?

I'm grinding it to level my b-spec, i'm at 27 now. I had the x2010 by trade.

I can do 30's in the X2010 but can never break a 29. Several thousand laps lol. I will have to run a full 5 lapper and grab the time.

You can run the ZR1 100% flat out with the downforce at 35 Front 30 Rear. Give it a try.
