Just calculated it in 24 hrs Le Sarthe event.

It's needs about 12 litres per lap, that is about 88 litres/100 km...

Now that's really eco-friendly figures :sly::sly::sly:

just for your info a reasonably priced car IRL will do about 8-10 ltrs/100 km.

Just thought you should now. :)

The X2010 might be better in fuel consumption than a reasonable priced car IRL. See how long it takes to run out of fuel if you run on 7th gear at the speed of a normal car at say 70MPH. It might be quite close.

Somebody's been watching Top Gear :)

Those are American standards!

You can easily do 3-4 ltrs/100 km..👍

Wow, who would've thought that a 1564BHP race car with insane downforce would consume more litres/100km than a reasonably priced car with 100-200BHP. :scared:

My imaginary dream car doesn't have to refuel because it produces petrol from nowhere as it's driven and it has no fuel tank either as it feeds it's freshly made petrol directly into the combustion chamber. Now if only PD had thought of that first, or would that be seen as making their totally unrealistic joke of a car even more unrealistic?

Don't be an ironic moron..

Did I say I thought the X1 wouldn't consume more than a reasonably priced car??? NO.

I just posted to tell you it consumes x10 times more than your reasonably priced car...

Think before you even post anything and before you start being ironic.

Fuel consumption for a typical F1 race is about 75L/100km... so it's not that surprising and comparable to an F1 car, especially when you consider the difference in power.

I agree with your comment. But it consumes x10 times more 'cause it has 10x times more horse powers than a regular car. For a 15xxHP car it's a good thing.

Also, if you let it idle by the side of the track, it won't use a drop! Eat that Al Gore!

The fuel consumption of the X1 seems ridiculous, but with an engine that powerful, its important to understand how much fuel it needs to burn to get that power out of it. The same can go for any race car.

If you run any car at WOT in a race you're going to have atrocious fuel consumption. I normally average about 25 mpg (about 9.5 l/100 km) from my car in mixed street driving. On a track day, I'll get about 5 mpg (47 l/100 km). This is with a car that only has ~300 hp.

Running hard at WOT absolutely kills mileage.
