I keep hearing you get the X1 at level 30, does that mean you get it automatically??

sorry for making a new thread to ask the question

No, you unlock it at the dealer (which you need 20 million and level 40...) and you unlock the Vettel driving challenges, if you bronze them you will get a X1, if you gold them you will get 3 (1 red bull livery version, one production coloured version, one prototype bare carbon).

Ok so just to clarify, holy CRAP the xp system is seriously flawed in this game. im at level 25 and its going to take me a year to get to 30

I haven't had too many issues with the XP system, although it might be because I gold everything for the extra XP.

For getting bronze do you get the Red Bull livery or the production/carbon livery?

You get the Redbull S.Vettel Livery, Silver is production and Gold is the bare carbon prototype.

Very very hard to get all bronze .. Very very very hard to get all silver ... , and very very very very hard + near impossible to get all gold .

Took me a couple hours each on Nurb GP and Suzuka to get golds, some of that was getting up to full pace (all the little tricks to speed for that car and track combo) but most of it was just pulling off two consecutive laps at full push without much errors. Monza on the other hand was probably 15 minutes (also gold).

I am using a wheel so I am not sure how hard it will be with controller users though.

I have done it with the controller but i have to say if u dont have a wheel dont go for silver or gold. And if u did get either one of those with a controller u are a boss like no other. The hardest challenge was on Suzuka but the GP and Monza were not that bad. Just got to get use to the car and going that fast around a track
