X1 Sebastian Vettel Challenge with a Dualshock

Congrats sar593 on your platinum. I also did the challenge. I did Monza with my DS3 and i bought a wheel for Nurburgring and Suzuka. It was close but took me a while. I had great encouragement from a friend I have on PSN and i met here in the forums (Si-UK) he also did it all with a SD3 and he would tell me how difficult it was on the DS3 was. So, congrats to you both.
 
took a solid 8 hours for me to get all BRONZE on this challenge, with a DS3

did monza first, took me about 2 hours, with these settings:
all aids off, TCS zero, except:
skid recovery force ON,
abs 10,
steering sensitivity 3

suzuka, took 5 hours, (suzuka is the hardest by far)
same settings

nurburgring, by FAR the easiest, took me not even 1 hour,
same settings
steering sensitivity 5

granted this is only bronze, but I dont care, i'm damn proud to have earned my x1. maybe someday i'll attempt gold, but since i already have 3 x1's theres little incentive

oh, and a final hint, the 'nose' (hood) view seemed to help tremendously on this car, i dont know why..

There aren't that many of us who're willing to beat the challenges genuinely.

I've only won the Nürburgring and Monza with a ds3 but i can't win the Susuka track with the ds3 controller.
Think i'll buy a wheel, i've heard it's a lot easier.
 
Just won the sebastian vettel challenge and i gotta tell you that its pretty hard to win but it makes it a lot easier to win if you use the screen where you can see from just over the driver perspective its called 'nose'.

the nürburgring is probably the easiest track then the monza and finally the susuka which i just won

Bronzed Monza which took me half an hour and currently doing the 'Ring as we speak. Thus far, this is by far the most absurd challenge I have encountered in a game. Not going to bother with getting gold.

Edit : Managed bronze on both Nurburgring and Suzuka, just when I was getting used to and enjoying warp speed racing. The time for clearing all three with the DS3 took me approximately 2 hours. I strongly recommend seanneedscar's tips. Tweak with it and practice.
