X1 With Skid Recovery On Ruins the Car

Ive been driving this thing with it both on and off and I am surprised at the way it handles with SRF. This should not even be allowed as an option on the X1. It completely takes away all the skill in slowing down the car and negotiating a chicane or threading it through any particular corner. You reach what you perceive to be the edge of the traction circle and the car just keeps giving more grip. What happens is you end up driving like a loon with almost full lock and throttle round sweepers. Kind of explains the 'i cant drive normal cars anymore' phenomenon people have been talking about.

Its dreadful! Every car, including the X1, has a traction limit and without it it feels almost plausible as an uber could be in the future but Oh My GOD Le Mans prototype. With it on I think just completely kills the way it drives.

Thoughts?

I was messing around with it too, to try and make the X1 more ridiculous, but I actually ended up going faster with it off.

I do drive with it off :) However the point I am making is that it seems to destroy the X1's handling more than any other car with SRF on because of the higher grip levels. It just keeps giving grip in spades!

Very few drivers with all gold in the vettel challenge will have done it without it on I believe simply because it offers such a laptime advantage although It definitely can be done.

I guess with SRF off, the challenges are not possible to gold. I tried these with SRF off anf could manage only bronze.
with SRF on i did Nürburgring Silver and Monza Gold.
Dont think SRF should be in the game though. Not an assist, just a kind of "cheat" imo

Ya I never turn it on either. The faster you go the more planted it is so I don't see the point. I just unlocked it last night and I think it ruined me. Every car I drive now is so slow.

Not true. I golded Nurburgring and Monza with SRF off and I plan on doing the same for Suzuka. Many other people have golded all 3 with SRF off.

The Vettel Challenges are definitely doable with SFR off. While trying to get Nurburgring down to Silver, my starting record was a 2:12.5 and by working at it and finding little spots where I could improve, I managed to bring it down to a 2:10.2 in about an hour, and I know I could get it down further with more work. It's not the easiest thing in the world, obviously, but it's certainly doable.

It's an imaginary car bro, it's not supposed to have real grip levels. lol
