Microsoft has done more than a few updates to its careers page these last few weeks, detailing new information on Xbox 2. Today however, in what could be the largest bit of information from the listings, it appears Microsoft is looking for an all-new Program Manager Management. How is that significant you might ask? Well the position focuses on development of both the next-generation system, and peripherals … oh, and it refers to the system as the “Xbox Xenon” console. Check out the exact quote below.

Those with a finger on the pulse of the industry might remember that it was suggested that Xenon would be an Xbox 2 code name. Of course, with this listing in mind, it’s starting to look like Xbox Xenon could be the real name. At any rate stay with us for more.

Xenon, why call it xenon, that name is old, done and dusted, come up with somethin original, the designers cant think of anything? Microsoft sucks, go back to making IBM's, oops sorry too late....

Zee: Microsoft didn't make IBMs (computers). IBM used Microsoft's operating system for their computers to compete against Apple.

I kinda like the name 'Xenon'. It's better than just slapping on a '2' and selling it.
