xbox 360 backwards compatability help

i am trying to play some original xbox games on my 4gb slim 360 and i have made sure the games can be played but when i start the games it says to attach a xbox 360 hard drive. so i am wondering if it is possible to play them on a 4gb system or is there somthing i need to do?

You need to get a HDD. Was the same with the old Arcade Xbox 360.
