Okay, ive now got roughly £150 from Christmas money and all the rest of it! Anyway i saw an advert on TV today for an Xbox with PGR2 (and 23 months free live play (Not too sure though)) for only £129.99 which i though was a preety good deal. From what ive heard PGR2 sounds a good game and is pulling me toward buying it and im getting a bit tired of waiting for GT4!

Bearing in mind i already have a PS2 to be playing on and will be keeping it, do you think i should buy it?

Also are there any other good driving games available for the Xbox?

Thanks in advance!!

PGR2 (With live), Toca Racedriver (with live, there is a non live version, but get the one with live support), sega GT2002 and sega GT Online (WITH LIVE DUH!).

Get that deal!

Ive now got a really bad feeling its ended though! I cant find it on the net anywhere.

Typical me not remembering which shop it was with!!

You know, i'd only say it is worth it if you are a major gamer. If you aren't it's just going to be a seriously major paperweight.

I use my Xbox 24 hours a day 7 days a week.........

....it sits unde rmy PS2 and Flat panel monitor, thats pretty much all i use it for now.

No Live(like me)= no better or worse than buying a Gamecube.

Just take a warranty if you can

My CD drive started playing up just after the warranty expired so Im going to buy a new xbox when it fails but with a warranty this time.

:banghead:

Well seriously this time Xbox isnt a paper weight, but i prefere shopping at EB Games, as with their systems you can pay an extra 50 bucks and get unlimited insurence for all accessories right over the counter, ive had my box for 1 year and a half and its fine so must a' been a fluke:)

Do NOT buy xbox. Here's why.

I got my PS2 1st day it came out. I called Sony, sent it in, they fixed it for free, and I had it back in less than a month.

Now.

I got xbox for my birthday in october. It stops working 3 1/2 months after I get it. I call customer support, they tell me my 90 day warranty is up and if I want it fixed, I have to send it in and pay them $99.

That's just my personal experience. I'm sure other people have just the opposite to say. So, just take everything you read here with a grain of salt.;)

I've never had any consoles break on me either sony or the xbox.

The Cd is the part that fails - It starts failing to recognise that a disk is there. Have a look around other X-box sites and you will see its more common than you think.

I have used mine for less than 100 hours...............:banghead:
