Friend of my wife has had an Xbox wheel given to her. A Black one? (yeah I know probably madcatz or something.)

Anyhow she rings my mrs because she knows I have a wheel and Xbox blah blah.

Her kids are 7,8 years old and she wanted me to recommend a game, she was going to get sonic all stars racing but I said it probably won't work.
I honestly don't know if it does or not but my gut reaction was a no.

Anyway, does anyone know of any kid friendly game(s) that might work.
I haven't really got a clue.

BTW your Internet Cred won't take hit if you answer. Lol.

Forza is played by my little cousins... 8 ish..

Pgr maybe?

Yeah maybe PGR. These kids are not into sims at all.

Anyone know the situ on sonic Allstars?

Adam, you love sonic all stars racing, admit it. It's ok I like Mario kart, there's no shame.

You could download the Daytona USA arcade game. Works GREAT with wheels. Just a suggestion. It has 2 road courses as well.

It's 800 points out of the xbox arcade games.

My son was playing RACE Pro at 8.

F1 2010 at 9

We're now doing a co-op championship together on F1 2011 and he's keeping me honest

With Assists on they're pretty good and not too much for the kids, but Forza is probably the best bet with Brake assists, racing line ABS TCS etc etc and of course there's all the Top Gear Bowling and Car football that they can do if the racing is too intense, not forgetting painting cars.

If you turn down ffb anyone can play...

She has a 4 year old who plays f1 2010.. not 11

I couldn't believe it when they came round and had a go on the Csr with pedals..

I had to put the pedals on books tho LOL

Nice display of left- foot braking there. Forza is a safe bet, but so is NFS: The Run. It's hard to recommend that game to anybody though. It is also rated teen I think so that also might now work out.

The run works with a wheel?

Not my kids, single mother and all that. Can't imagine sim training without a father figure.

My boy is 7 and into Zelda, Mario, puzzle games etc.

Yes The Run does work with a wheel. There is an easy setting on the
game also but I have'nt tried it on easy. There can be some dificult parts
in that game might be a little frustrating for someone just starting out.

I'm guessing that this is a 360? But any way I remember a long time ago (it's not that long I know :P) when the original Xbox came with a double game disk it had Sega GT 2002 and Jet Set Radio Future (ring any bells anyone?) and they work on the 360 (dated I know but they're still cool games) so I thought that that would be a nice idea (or not, you choose) I uhhh can't really think of anything else :/ sorry for wasting any of your time reading this waste of the Internet....

Downloaded All stars demo.

Guess what....... It works. FF everything. When drifting FF cuts out.

Very surprised by that.

Get one of the various Need For Speed games for Xbox. Those are very arcadey and kids like big crashes etc. Or try getting Burnout(one of the games from that series).

Games where kids can crash cars and see funny colors lolol.

Test drive unlimited??

You may have to earn some money.. but it lets them drive on normal roads around ibaza
