Hi,
I was just wondering if I could buy 12 months LIVE ( Pro Evo package ) on Ebay and use it for my 360... why ? Because Pro Evo + 12 months Gold + Xbox1 headset costs about 20 EUR on ebay ( new and unopend of course )

So my question is ( and I couldn't find an answer on google ) if that works...
Also can I upgrade my XBL account another year now, although I still have Gold until December ?
Any experience ?

Thx in advance....

I haven't done this before, but I would think there would be another year added to your account.

But, if you're still don't think that will work, you could always wait until your year is about ready to end, and then use the 1 year thingy.

Yep.

Say if you had 4 months left, and you activated another 12 month subscription, it would add the 4 months you had left onto the account, giving you 16 months. :)

So do you know that or do you think it works this way ?

The bigger question however is, if a Xbox 1 Gold membership works for the 360, since that would save me 70% costs.... and not forever, since there are only some xbox1game+12monthsgold packages left....

I did it myself. I bought a 12 month subscription with 1 month left on my old one, and it transfered the remaining time onto the new one.

AFAIK, an Xbox 1 Gold membership will still work on a 360, providing you register it on 1 first, and then transfer it.

Ok thanks for answering my frist question.
Ehm so you think that - if it works - you can't just take the code and type it into the 360 and that's it ?

There is an area that you can use the prepaid code: Redeem prepaid code,it's in the account management area on your xbox live, this allows you to input the code and you will have 12 more months of Xbox live.

Wait, I'm confused. Isn't it the same price for XBL service per month on both systems (about $4 USD)? I know my origional XBL account transfered over to my 360 without a problem, and given that it automatically re-charges my account every spring for the $50 yearly fee, I don't see how it would be a problem...

Well that is what I hope. I mean I can get that package for 25 EUR, which half the normal price and I get Pro evolution Soccer on Top... so a pretty good deal... not so great if it shouldn't work though ;)

Well I don't know, I would assume it would so long as it doesn't have a best before date like the free ones you get with games lol.
