Does anyone still have Xbox live for the original Xbox?I was thinking of getting Xbox live but I need to know a few things

-Is it still around?
-Are there still a good amount of people there?
-The price?

I don't think Xbox live for the original Xbox is still supported. The only way I believe you can play Xbox live is on the 360 and even then I'm not sure if the Xbox-1 games are supported. Sorry, I can't suggest you continue to look forward to playing the original Xbox online.

That said, I'd go look at the 360 forums and find out what the current rates are for the various levels of Live support.
(PS3 does it for free )

Apparently you can go still go on-line with the original XBOX. I have been looking at getting mine up and running as I have a copy of Steel Battalion: Line of Contact. This game is still played on-line today, though only by a small hardcore group now.

From my understanding of the procedure, you need a XBOX Live 360 Gold account, and then transfer it over to the original XBOX. I don't have a 360, so I'm naturally a little wary about doing this. Maybe once I'm flush, I'll give it a blast!
