@ my XBox
Anyone else having issues? Forza 6 was acting really weird last night (as in the Porsche picture kept changing between connected and not connected to Live) and apparently Forza 6 has had an update.

This morning no XBox live, it said there was but it didn't work, then after a hard restart it said it didn't work... so get onto Support live chat... eventually we had to remove my profile, factory reset the whole thing and at this moment I am still waiting for Forza 6 to 'synch' but I think it has a problem again

I am just interested if anyone else has had issues or whether I am just the lucky winner on my own with this?

Well, so far I have had to reset the whole XBox after trying everything else, remove my gamer tag after trying everything else, remove Forza 6 entirely after trying everything else and am trying now to reload the game.....

Total nightmare... first time I have eveer had an issue with XBox One, Live or Forza 6... but when it goes wrong to be fair it is cataclysmic...... after numerous chats with xBox support here I am 4 hours later still trying to sort it out... blah... really not a good day here

I've been having odd problems with connections, but what I noticed is that it wouldn't read my ethernet cable when it was plugged in, so I've just been running off WiFi. This has fixed itself though, so outside of that, I can't say I know what you're going through. Can't say I've ran into any problems even close to that level, thats a shame.

As for Syncing. FM games always take a long time to sync.

Thanks Ima

At long last and after some 9 hours I have FM6 back, synced and ready to go again

Although I have no proof what has caused this, though I suspect it was the update. At one point FM6 said it had tow sync points, one today and one last night... I have never created that, that it did on it's own and I think ultimately that was the issue.. somehow it righted itself eventually after doing all the resetting, rebooting, downloading and profile removal

After clearing FM6 out completely and then yet another hard restart once it had downloaded again it then took something like 30 minutes of a hanging synch screen just sitting there before even a 0% symbol turned up... then it took as long as FM6 to sync back.

I really hope no one else gets this... it is a living nightmare

What had caused my ethernet issue was actually the Xbox Dashboard update. Have you been off the console since the last update? My friend was also telling me about connection issues just like mine, but instead of the ethernet, it was the Wifi That wouldn't work for him, this was also after the dashboard update. However, like mine, his just went away. Such an odd thing.

That sync time actually seems a bit normal, to be honest. For some time it wont even show a percentage either, until later when its almost done. The only thing I can think of why FM takes so much longer than other games, is that maybe all the data they have stored on the Cloud.

I use Wi-Fi for the XBox, and also have the TV hard wired plus a few other boxes as one does these days.

We have also been having issues with all that though. Recently we updated to fibre BB which gives us around 75 mb/s... but it doesn't a seem overly stable and today whilst all this has been going on I have also been talking to the BB service provider to change the router settings.. so that maybe something to do with it all.

Certainly my first issue morning was that Live Gold would not work... then once I had re-instated that, Forza decided to have a total nervous break down.

Not very good for the digestion I have to say :banghead:
