With a few league notices starting to pop up I'd like to take a moment to invite X1 users to our small community, the Xbox Racing Association. We currently compete via FM5 but will be migrating to PC upon release. We have a dedicated group with very little turnover. Even with FM5 usage dropping off we continually put close to full grids on the track each week. This isn't a mass user site, it's a group of adults that focus on racing each Sunday night (8 PM EDT) with like minded adults.

If you're intrigued you can click this spoiler for more details.

When:

Every Sunday Night at 8 PM Eastern. Races generally take up about 2 hours.

We're looking for people that:

-Drive responsibly
-Don't use assists
-Can race on a fairly regular basis at our scheduled time (Sundays @ 8 PM EDT)
-Wants to enjoy clean racing with a group of like minded adults
-Has a good internet connection. I'm serious, nothing ruins a good night of racing like a person with near dial up speeds. This includes people with quality UL/DL that use WiFi. No WiFi!

What you can expect:

-A small but very active community. (we limit our league to the amount of people we can have on the grid. members are expected to be active)
-Clean racing. (wrecks will happen, but apologies usually follow)
-Organized structure (updated stats and scoring, active forum, etc)
-Realistic Formats (Quali, rolling and standing starts, safety cars, pits, etc)
-Teams (we currently have 3 teams that help each other tune, prepare, etc)
-Fun! Although we're looking for a realistic racing experience most of us realize the ultimate goal is to have fun. Not everyone can win the race, sometimes you can have just as much enjoyment fighting with multiple drivers in the mid pack.

If that sounds good and you're interested in joining click this spoiler.

We have limited space. As mentioned, we're a small group that limits our driver lineup to the amount of folks that can be on the grid. You can join our group two ways:

1. Guarantee a spot on the opening Project Cars grid by completing our current FM5 season. Current drivers are obviously given preference so if you join us now you'll be locked in to the opening PC season. We have 2 immediate openings.

2. If you're not interested in playing FM5 you can join our Next Up list by creating an account on our forum and declaring your interest. Doing this will still give you a great chance to be on the opening grid, but it's not guaranteed. If PC allows for more than 16 in multiplayer we'll have more openings. If it's only 16 we'll have less. First come, first serve.

You can join us by sending me a PM here, a message via XBL (Ch1ps N Queso), or creating an account on forum and posting in the Project Cars area.

Thanks for looking!

What series will we be running? Anything and everything.

Our Season 6 (PC Season 1) series is yet to be decided. Although it's really easy to say GT3, or another series with multiple cars, we'd like to save those for early 2015 when the bugs have been ironed out. Those series are going to be awesome and we don't want them to be hampered by early teething issues. Our first season will most likely be a spec series of some sort while we all come to grips with the game. After that we'll be jumping into the multi-car stuff (GT3, GT4, LMP). These decisions are decided by the group.
