Hi there. You can follow the procedure outlined here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/capture-game-clips-and-screenshots (which I have never used...)
Otherwise you can save and share the photos you take on the picture mode, then log in the Forza Hub app (Windows) to view and download them.
You can also visit the Community/Gallery section of Forza's official site https://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/ just log in with your username and your saved and shared photos and videos will be there.

When in game you press the center Xbox power button and press X on the control pad to take a screenshot. From there it'll automatically upload to your xbox live account, which you can pull from sites like www.xboxdvr.com after you search your user name.

The alternative is uploading them to onedrive by selecting the "upload" button when selecting the screenshot you took, on your Xbox console. https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/ go here, log in with your email that you used on the Xbox Live account, select "Pictures", and there you go.

I use xboxdvr.com to download my screenshots. It takes a while for the photos to show up, like 5-10 minutes, but they always arrive and they're good quality.

That's due to the slow speed of the Xbox uploading system. Sometimes I'll watch it and it literally takes like 5 minutes just to upload a photo, and my speeds aren't necessarily slow.
