Xenon Racer

There is a new arcade title being developped by an Italian and Dutch gaming company (3DClouds.it & Soedesco). The game is called Xenon Racer and it seems like a mix between Ridge Racer, WipeOut and some blurish, mario'ish powerup system. They say that customization will play a big part and you can build pretty much a futuristic racer of your liking.

What you guys think?

Finally, a release date! I've been looking forward to this game since their teaser in fall, last year.

Certainly looks like a fun mix of RR and Blur.

Looks certainly good and fun. Details are a little scarce but the customisation looks very cool and gameplay isn't full RR style. From what I understand is that you can also drive a non-drift style and wheelsupport 'could' be in.

It looks good, great artstyle and vehicle designs. Dunno if the gameplay's my cup of tea, need a demo to know for sure.

Interesting. This IS like a mix of Ridge Racer and WipEout. Only this is more futuristic. This isn't exactly Ridge State. This is a game I'd probably play. Sure like to see how this one turns out.

Like the designs and the idea, but handling looks pants as always (yes, even accounting the fact that it's an arcade racer).

Give me Blur 2 anyday over this.

If the handling turns out to be atleast decent I'm getting this though. I'd take Blur 2 over everything.
