XLink?

I keep hearing about and seeing some action over xlink? what is xlink and how do i use it? where do i get it? can someone explain to me exactly what xlink is? Also, after i download it or whatever, can u give me a basic walkthrough on how to set it up? please dont just give a link, i need some explanation. thanks.

Xlink requires a PS2 with an ethernet adaptor. It fools the PS2 into connecting to other PS2's over internet like normal LAN. The post I linked to is the instructions on how to set it up. The stickies are there for a reason and they do post explanations.

Xlink is the BEST thing out there for Gran Turismo users, period!

Make sure your computer and ps2 are connected on the network. Log on with the software. Navigate the menus till you see the list of games, then your correct location (americas room).
I am from Sacramento, so the connection speed between the two of us should be perfect.
