XM vs Sirius

What is everyone's opinion on these two servicies? I'm currently subscribing to XM, but havn't listened to it in in months due to faulty hadware. The music I listen to is rock (alt, punk, metal etc...basically everything but classic rock) and electronica (dance, trance/progressive breakbeats/drum n bass). I'm currently listening to Sirius online right now and so far, so good. I'll be checking out XM's programming after a while to see how it compares. I am not interested in sports or talk radio. Have any of you had any experience with both in the real world and can give pros/cons of both? Which hardware do you prefer? Is the sound quality good on both? I plan on using this mainly in the house, connected to a set of Logitech Z5500 speakers. Thanks :)
 
Yeah, they’ve already applied for a merger, and are currently waiting for approval.
 
Why wait? If I continue my subscription now, I'll get all the benefits of the merger once it happens, plus I'll get quality radio now.
