XP Pro Licence key Question......

I still have the XP Pro installation cd that I used when I installed it on my new computer. The problem is, I seem to have lost the licence key.

Is there any properties window or something similar that i can look at to find out what key I have used on my machine?

The Windows product license, along with licenses for other Microsoft programs like Office, are actually stored in the registry. RockXP will grab them for you, unless of course you know the exact registry keys to check. Anyway, I tested it and it returned the exact same key that I used for my XP Pro install.

both these will work. if you can't find the windows key, and you don't have a current install of windows to work from, contact microsoft in your country and have your proof-of-purchase handy and they'll provide you with another one
