Xsara Rally Car start-up

When you change car and you hear the engine start-up, is that true to life as the Xsara Rally car is probably the weirdest sound you'll ever hear :P

It sounds as though the engine is struggling to start... but then bam it fires up (does sound good though)

I was wondering if anyone else had thought this or if there are any other cars that do this.

(did a search first but nothing came up)
 
Race cars have crap starters and crapper batteries.

A lot of the rally cars sound like they're struggling to start.
 
The Ford GT LM Spec II race car (the white one from GT4) sounds really weird when you start it up. Kinda like a cross between a vacuum cleaner and a fighter jet...
